Oho Recruitment Fight Night
In 2017, we teamed up with the Opera Youth Foundation to set up Recruitment Fight Night, aiming to bringing our peers together in support of raising funds for the foundation, and have some fun along the way. The Opera Youth Foundation works with The Prince's Trust to address youth unemployment and support 16-24-year-olds to find, gain and stay in work. The event proved to be a triumph, successfully raising over £10,000 in support of this worthy cause.
Oho 3 Peaks Challenge
In 2022, 13 employees undertook the 3 Peaks Challenge for a 24-hour fundraising adventure. Through our combined efforts we raised an impressive £5,306 in support of two impactful charities—the Lily Foundation and Grassroots Suicide Prevention.
The Lily Foundation is dedicated to supporting those affected by mitochondrial disease, while Grassroots Suicide Prevention works tirelessly to raise awareness and provide crucial resources to prevent suicide.
Food Bank Donations
We are dedicated to supporting our local area through Food Bank donations to our nearest shelter in Vauxhall. Through our contributions to the local Food Bank, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing challenges.
By contributing to local charities, we strive to create a positive ripple effect within the community, fostering a collective sense of responsibility. Together, we are making steps towards building a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.
Bake Sale For Children’s Mental Health Week
During the Children’s Mental Health week in February 2023, we supported Place2Be by organizing a bake sale in our shared office space. Members of the Oho Group contributed by home baking a variety of delicious treats, which we then sold to individuals within our building. This initiative proved successful, raising a total of £438.92 to contribute to the vital work of Place2Be in promoting children's mental health.
